Helena Hallgarn and Ann Björk are founders of Virtual Intelligence VQ AB. With over 16 respectivley 10 years experience from legal practice and knowledge management (in the law firms Vinge, Mannheimer Swartling and Gernandt Danielsson) they are two of the most experienced knowledge management professionals in Scandinavia.

Helena Hallgarn and Ann Björk are also pioneers in legal tech in Scandinavia after founding Virtual Intelligence VQ 2010. At Virtual Intelligence VQ they have been able to combine their legal knowledge with their IT skills to develop innovative IT tools for the legal sector. Their most well- established tool VQ Legal has for example truly changed the way company registration matters are being managed.

Helena Hallgarn and Ann Björk are regularly speaking at conferences in Europe and have written several articles on knowledge management, legal technology and market development topics.

Virtual Intelligence VQ

Virtual Intelligence VQ is an innovative entrepreneurial company focusing on digitalisation of the legal sector, founded 2010. Since then, VQ has developed several innovative legal solutions such as inter alia VQ Legal, a new intelligent legal solution with readymade standard documents focusing on business law. This “Digital Associate” is now a well-established solution within the legal sector and is used by eight of the ten largest law firms, as well as by legal counsels and auditing firms. Lately, VQ has also initiated a new legal Artificial Intelligence project, TrueAgreement, to analyse agreements.

Each year, VQ also arranges the largest legal strategy event in Scandinavia, VQ Forum. This conference brings together internationally renowned speakers and champions of change to discuss the future of the legal market from both an in-house counsel and law firm perspective. In 2017 VQ won the Swedish Legal Innovation Award for its pioneering impact on the legal market.

VQ’s blog was also the international award winner in the Clawbies Award in 2014 for being a must- read source for European lawyers seeking to ahead of legal market trends.
